THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE

By JJ3 The Liberty Bard

When you hear people talk about the population of the United States you will frequently hear them say three hundred million people.  The actual population is actually more than that, I think it's closer to 330 million people but that doesn't flow as well for this song.  So this phrase three hundred million people was just kind of floating around in my head when all of a sudden I realized that this was the beginning to my next song.  It was an unnoticed poetic phrase and the seven syllables flowed really well and created kind of a natural beat.
You know I'm right when I say that each and every one of those three hundred million people has an opinion on how to run our country.   Americans are nothing if not inflated with confidence that they could fix all the problems in this country if people would just listen to what THEY want done. Unfortunately too many of those opinions are based on emotions and not logical long term thinking on what is best for our country now and in the future.  So that was the thought process that birthed this song.  Once I had the first two lines I had the seven syllable rhythm to set up the entire stanza and the next lines just came naturally - on how to run a system, that's already been bought.  Once I got to that point I pretty much felt like I was in the writing zone where I didn't even have to think I just had to write down the next line.  I was reading an article on the Burning Platform entitled "Who are the Real Traitors" by Jim Quinn, the administrator of the site.  I kept reading and writing this song at the same time.  To say that this article inspired this song would be an accurate statement.

I know, who cares about the thought process on how I came up with the idea of this song?  I'm simply trying to communicate to you the listener how the ideas for lyrics come into my head.  I have been given a gift for writing songs and I believe that the ideas I get come from somewhere.  I can't explain really where they come from and I have given it some thought, but I would say that my strong belief in a loving peaceful God is strengthened through this process.  In reality, I read a lot of different websites that describe the concepts of liberty and freedom and why it is so important.  It's no coincidence that America was a country of innovation and economic prosperity during the 1800's when our country had the greatest level of individual freedom the world had ever seen.

Every day I see that freedom slowly being eroded away one police brutality video on youtube at a time.  The level of ignorance and apathy in this country is rising to a level that I believe will result in a disastrous outcome.  We fight over the rights of gays to marry and the outcome of a show trial while reporters are murdered while driving, our banking system systematically bleeds the middle class dry and our government fights multiple shadow wars around the globe.  But nobody can be bothered to protest the real issues facing our country.  So what can we do?

Many people believe that we can educate and awaken others and hope that our efforts are enough to awaken a critical mass of people that are strong enough to stop the tide and reawaken the spirit of America and stop the encroaching tyranny of our current Amerika.  There are many ways to educate.  Lew Rockwell runs a blog and post links to various great books by such fathers of Liberty as Murray Rothbard, Ludwig Von Mises and Henry Hazlitt, amongst many other current promoters of the concepts of Liberty and true Freedom.  He also produces a weekly podcast where he talks with other freedom loving liberty minded experts.  He produces a world class blog with posts by several different authors that offer a refreshing alternative perspective to what defines true patriotism and promotes peaceful solutions over aggressive secretive measures.

There are several other blogs that offer up educational articles like The Burning Platform which post original articles as well as providing the perspective of certain authors the administrator reads and shares with his audience.  The Daily Bell exposes how the media has become the State's lapdog by promoting different memes that allow the manipulative government forces to control the obedient sheep through their repetitive propaganda techniques.  The Economic Collapse Blog list various facts article after article that support his assertion that we will soon face a worldwide economic collapse due to the unexpected consequences of government policies.  Zero Hedge details the financial manipulation of the world's markets by a financial elitist class that runs the six largest banks in the country that control the majority of the banking system and collaborate with their government counterparts and other bankers to create situations where they can profit handsomely despite the economic devastation they leave behind in their wake for the people.  See Greece for details.

Also you have Alex Jones, a well read historian who has a 3 hour daily radio show, a nightly news broadcast and a willingness to stand up to every facet of shadow government provocations against us the people.  He covers everything from autism caused by vaccinations to planned government poison of the air we breath and water we drink.  There are many more excellent sites dedicated to the cause of Liberty and survival in the upcoming hardships, like Alt-Market and Silverbear cafe.  If you have not heard of any of these sites I urge you to google all of them and read what they have to say.  If you want to awaken your soul to the truth then look past your government sponsored education and mainstream media propaganda that has been showered upon you your whole life and learn how the world truly works.  In a nutshell, lose the naivety.  These people are not creating these sites for monetary gain, they truly want to help humanity shed our chains and take the next evolutionary step into a world without borders and States that function as chaperones.

You see, since my eyes have been opened and I have awaked, I also have that urge to help humanity overcome it's long struggle with aggression and empire.  However, it sounds like everything is covered above right?  So where does that leave me?   Well as stated above, I believe that I was given a great gift.  I have an innate talent for writing lyrics.  This is not my ego speaking.  Whether or not you believe my lyrics are good or meaningful, I believe that they are.  To me that is all that matters.  My life has a purpose and that purpose is to use my gift to write for a cause that I believe in, the cause of Liberty.  The super successful societies all throughout history have always been the ones with Liberty.  So I write and try to connect with talented musicians who share in my passion.  Artists like Jordan Page whose music moves me to rage over our current systems injustice and aggressiveness when he narrates the indecencies and atrocities committed by our government in the name of Freedom.  It is an affront to Freedom.  Not only is our empire an affront to Liberty and Freedom it forces me to pay for it's destructive policies at the point of a gun.

I don't know about you, but that kind of pisses me off.  So I write songs in protest.  I know that music is the way to reach the masses.  If I can at a minimum arouse their curiousity, maybe they will start asking questions.  And maybe eventually they will start asking the right questions.  My sole purpose for writing these lyrics is to create good music that people like because of the beat and the flow.  The lyrics will be a stealth attach on their sense, a subliminal message bombarding LIBERTY directly into their brain.  Maybe after they hear it four or five times, they may actually wonder what the hell I am talking about.  Look I was once under the influence of the mainstream media and believed the education that the government had given me.  Fortunately I had someone point me towards the Silverbear cafe one day and that simple act changed my entire perspective on this world, the devil's playground.  I only hope I can do the same for someone else.

As Jordan Page says -

"I'm just a stranger here,
I'm a long long way from home.
How can I change all those things I find strange
I am just one man alone."

However in the triumphant ending the last lines changes from
"I am just one man alone" to
"I know that I'm not alone."

How fitting.

I know that I'm not alone and I'm asking for the help of talented musicians and video creators and editors to help me take this video attached, this raw product and help me make it better and turn it viral.  With the right musician and the right video this song could become the first track on the Soundtrack to the Revolution.

LYRICS BELOW:
“…I can’t in good conscience allow the US government to destroy privacy, internet freedom and basic liberties for people around the world with this massive surveillance machine they’re secretly building.”Edward Snowden
“The great fear that I have regarding the outcome for America of these disclosures is that nothing will change. [People] won’t be willing to take the risks necessary to stand up and fight to change things… And in the months ahead, the years ahead, it’s only going to get worse. [The NSA will] say that… because of the crisis, the dangers that we face in the world, some new and unpredicted threat, we need more authority, we need more power, and there will be nothing the people can do at that point to oppose it. And it will be turnkey tyranny.” – Edward Snowden

Three hundred million people
With three hundred million thoughts
On how to run a system that’s already been bought,
By the bankers I mean gangsters
And one tenth of one percent,
Of the people on this planet,
Who use the government:
To tell us who to hate,
To tell us what to think,
To spy on every action,
To take us to the brink,
Of tyranny, oppression,
Authoritarian,
Ruling oligarchy,
Enriching all their friends
Should we try to stop them and fight for liberty?
Or should we just accept their turnkey tyranny?

Three hundred million people who look the other way,
A country apathetic, to what the critics say,
Whistleblowers whistle, politicians cry,
They can’t expose our secrets, and no one wonders why,
The government can watch us but we cannot watch them,
They’ll label you a traitor if you commit the sin,
Of showing what their up to, exposing what they do,
Pulling back the curtain, so we can all see who
Tells us who to hate,
Tells us what to think,
Spies on every action,
Takes us to the brink,
Of tyranny, oppression,
Authoritarian,
Ruling oligarchy,
Enriching all their friends
Should we try to stop them and fight for liberty?
Or should we just accept their turnkey tyranny?

Three hundred million people who all should be ashamed
For being apathetic, while the statist go insane,
Destroy the fourth amendment, Eviscerate the first,
It’s just a piece of paper, our founding father’s curse.
The thing you must remember, when they wrote the bill of rights,
The world was run by tyrants, that our founders chose to fight,
They tried to make a system, that was structured to prevent,
Tyranny emerging, within our government,
They warned us not to trade an ounce of liberty,
For the comfort of the promise of false security,
Collectivist would rule us, every day and every where
The question we must ask, is simply do we care?
I have to ask the question, and if you answer no,
You’ve learned to love your servitude, repeat the words below…
Tell us who to hate,
Tell us what to think,
Spy on every action,
Take us to the brink,
Of tyranny, oppression,
Authoritarian,
Ruling oligarchy,
Enriching all their friends
Why should we try to stop them and fight for liberty?
We should just accept their turnkey tyranny.
“The issue boils down to this: do we care about freedom? Do we care about responsibility and accountability? Do we care that our government and media have been bought and paid for? Do we care that average Americans are being looted in order to subsidize the fattest of cats on Wall Street and in government? Do we care? When the chips are down, will we stand up and fight, even if it means standing up against every stripe of fashionable opinion in politics and the media? Times like these have a way of telling us what kind of a people we are, and what kind of country we shall be.” – Ron Paul
“I’m neither traitor nor hero. I’m an American.”Edward Snowden

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” - Samuel Adams
